Bychinski
Tommy Lee Bychinski
has been in the Radio Business since 1964 when he started at WIGM AM-FM
in Medford Wisconsin as the
afternoon disc jockey, he moved to
Marshfield
Wisconsin in October of 1966
serving as disc jockey and then Sports Director, operations Manager,
sales person until 1972. Tommy
along with his wife Sharon and daughter Tina moved to
Tomahawk
WI in May of 1972.
Bychinski
was to become station Manager for Goetz Broadcasting, however in
November 1972 he was sent to Reedsburg instead to become the morning
WRDB-AM-FM host, sales, and play by play person. Todd Bychinski
joined the family in 1974. The fall of 1978 Tommy was named general
manager of the Reedsburg operations, and in 1985 became vice president
of Sauk Broadcasting in Reedsburg.
Tommy remained in the Goetz Corporation until 1999 when the
corporation was sold to Marathon Media; Tommy then became General
Manager and served at the Reedsburg station until January 2, 2008.
Tommy has been a member of the Reedsburg Fire Department since
1975, County
Board Member since 2002;
he was chairmen of the Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation Board,
Reedsburg Chamber President, Tommy served as President of the Wisconsin
Broadcasters Association 1999-2000.
He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, served as
president of the Church and also School Board.
Tommy was named as the Baraboo Elks lodge
Sauk
County citizen of the year
in 2007. He and his wife Sharon have been married over forty years, and
have eight grandchildren. Tommy
is proud to be the part he plays as anchorman and writer for Reedsburg
Utility News on the internet.

Kate Welter
Kate Welter has been working as Reedsburg
Utility Commission's first Public Access Channel Coordinator
since 2003. Kate graduated from the University of
Wisconsin Platteville, with a Bachelors Degree in Communications
Technology where she emphasized in graphic design. Kate has worked
in various settings where customer service and community relations are
the key to success, making her a perfect fit for the Public Access
Channel Coordinator Position. Kate's talents range from creating
the community calendar events from producing and editing local
programming. Since Kate's arrival in Reedsburg she has
been an active part of the community through
participation in the Reedsburg Area United Fund
Auction, and various softball and volleyball tournaments. Kate is
also a member of the WAPC (Wisconsin Association of PEG Access
Channels). WAPC is an organization where PEG (Public, Educational,
and Governmental) channels can gather information and local programming
